Old Gringo Grill - Alpine
Old Gringo Grill
Description
Visitors to The Old Gringo experience an eclectic mix of dining outcomes. While some rave about the cozy atmosphere and delicious Tex-Mex offerings, such as the notable Super Stupid Nachos, others lament the food quality and service inefficiencies. Complaints arise over excessively salty dishes and poorly prepared meals, leaving some patrons dissatisfied. Contrastingly, those enjoying attentive service and flavorful drinks praise the environment. With average meal prices ranging from $10 to $30, diners can find a lively locale with music and charm, yet quality and speed remain inconsistent. Ultimately, The Old Gringo proves to be a gamble for food lovers.

Feedback
The service at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. We waited 45 minutes before having to serve ourselves water, and after another 45 minutes of being completely ignored, we decided to leave. It felt like we were being overlooked for some reason—perhaps it was our appearance, but I can't say for sure. Regardless, I'm not interested in returning. It was frustrating to see the waitress attend to customers who arrived after us while we were left waiting. I just can't figure out what went wrong.
Since new ownership has taken over, it is a great place to go hang out, eat good food, and have a cold drink. The grilled chicken salad was amazing!Would recommend this place!
