Red Rooster - ALPHINGTON

Used the drive through for a quick snack on the way somewhere I had to go causing me to miss dinner at home. Red Rooster has and is really trying hard to improve their offerings. It's working! Keep tweaking the menu, mixing it up a bit and keep offering new periodical special value offers.I had the dippers box at the member price and it represented good value and was good quality with friendly service.

In contrast to the previous reviewer I found the service at Red Rooster excellent.My chicken 'rippa roll' was tasty and delivered quickly even though I requested a slight modification from the standard offering. The chips were pleasant while the Coke unusually was in a can not the more usual 300ml plastic bottle.The food was delivered quickly even though there was a line of six motorists waiting at the drive in window.Tables and chairs were in good condition while the toilet was very clean.The airconditioning worked well on a fairly warm Melbourne midweek summer's day in early January.There was a copy of the 'Herald Sun' available for diners to read.Red Rooster recently introduced a loyalty card called 'Red Royalty' that on this occasion quite substantially reduced the cost of my order. It is a good loyalty scheme.Red Rooster is my favourite takeaway chain and outlets like this one are a credit to the brand.

Not very clean place. Food does not taste fresh. Easy access and not too many fast food competitors around

Not only did this particular Red Rooster get our order wrong, the meal was oily and soggy. Just disgusting.
