that was a big subject. fresh brot, meat cut to order, and delicious ingredients made for a good sandwich. the personal was also friendly. I thought it was a bit expensive and the load needed an early cleaning (but not up). View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Monkey's Subs:
If you change your business hours, you should update them here and put a sign on your storefront because there is no sign on your storefront and there is 7 a.m. and they just stand there and have looked at us. There is no post a time when people close others than Google View all feedback.
This makes me sad, but this place has fallen off, big time. What was once my favorite sub shop on the West side is now a shell of its former self. I think they're simply employing people who don't care about making good sandwiches. The last few times we've gotten them, they've been very mediocre. Last night was the last straw. I ordered my favorite sub from Monkey's, the turkey bacon avocado. There was barely anything in it. It had a couple pieces of turkey, a little bacon, and some onion. I never even tasted avocado. It was 95% bread, and on top of that, the bread seemed old. It was extraordinarily chewy. I've never had a sandwich make my jaw hurt before. So unfortunately, I'm done with Monkey's. Hopefully they turn it around and hire some people that can make a good sub, but I am not wasting my money $15 for a footlong!!!! when I can spend far less at Jersey Mike's and get a much better sandwich.

Cozy space that delivers fresh subs with fast service and great employees. Was greeted by all employees walking in and when I was leaving too. Walked in with two subs in mind, the employee recommended the turkey bacon avocado which was a great choice. Subs come on choice of white or wheat bread, and standard toppings of mayo, mustard, tomatoes, lettuce, red onion, oil, and vinegar. Even with the oil and vinegar, the taste wasn't over powered by these flavors. The bread was crisp and crunchy and the turkey was thin and plentiful as the meat is cut to order. If you order online, subs are placed on a side table and the shop has everything you nerd with drinks and chips you can purchase on the side.
