But today, at the mid-point of a circular walk from Senija, we tried the tapas for the first time. Well worth it: freshly cooked, wonderful flavours! Patatas bravas, albondigas and goats’ cheese salad all excellent.

We went for drinks and met friends and had a lovely time. The waitress was kind and friendly and gave good service. Enjoyed our time on the square.

A typical bar like any other except it is in one of the loveliest little villages around and the square itself is lush with trees and flowers. The staff is friendly and when they serve food (out of season only weekends) it is of a high standard. You might even get away with English although Spanish is preferred.
