By far the best restaurant I have visited in my many years back and forth to Valencia. We dined at the bar. Excellent array of fresh fish, seafood and vegetables. Superb choice. The food (fish, sauid, anchovies) was cooked to perfection and whomever slices the jamon deserves a medal. Top service and a lovely ambience.
This restaurant was always one of our preferred choices in Alicante. Service has always been very good and first-class quality in the kitchen. Now that we seem to overcome the pandemic, they have made great positive changes in the décor, the menu and specially the service. Service is so good that you feel as if you were the only customer in the place: young smiling waiters, focused on each detail and ready to help. We had the best giant prawns ever and delicious fresh sea-bass. 100% recommendable!!
This was the first Michelin star restaurant we’ve visited in our entire lives and what can I say we were very pleased with the experience we had! For evening service they open their doors arround 8pm and in the restaurant they only accept tables woth reservations. Otherwise you have to sit in the first floor by the bar. However it is not a bad thing by all meaning because the staff and general vibe in there is purely amazing! Also, who wouldn’t like to sit by the bar in front of all possible shelfish freshly bought from the market, am I right? For our starters we took several different ones to try, there was tapas with avocado and tuna tartar (fish from both of them was insanely fresh, I think one of the freshest we’ve got to try yet! But tartar was one of the few exceptional dishes I would advice anyone to try . Talking about hot starters, we took cooked aubergine with anchovies and parmesan puree (which is another thing you have to try. In the menu it seemed that these three ingredients doesn’t go well together, but somehow they made it work and they did a really good job woth this dish and baked prawns with crushed eggs on top (it was okay, good, but nothing magnificent . Because prawns were served with their shells and tails and covered in dough we were sad that nobody explaned us how we should properly eat them and what is the idea behind such dish. Thats the other (and only complaint we had with our overall experience in this restaurant, the majority of the had some difficulties with english language which is understandable, but when food was ariving to our table nobody even bothered explaining ingredients and all of that, so we had to ask. This is kind of sad especially when you are dining in Michelin restaurant. Talking about our mains, we tooks beef sirloin with mushroom sauce and sea bass and they were really good. Not as good as the starters I highlighted previously, but still good :
Food was really good and fresh oysters really amazing but luck of server them with deferent flavour overall nice and fresh
