Lupita's Mexican - Alhambra

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the owner Lupita is extremely rude. I had a negative encounter with her when I requested both types of salsa with my burrito and she insisted I would have to pay extra. She was hostile and gave me a disdainful look. Additionally, I was surprised to learn that they have a limit on chips and salsa, which is unusual for Mexican restaurants. I will not be returning to this establishment due to Lupita's intimidating behavior. In my view, a restaurant owner should be more accommodating and welcoming.

Providing extras like chips and salsa incurs costs for restaurant owners. While it is reasonable to want to inform customers politely, those who come in and fill up on chips and salsa, only order side dishes, and request to-go refills while only drinking water are negatively impacting the restaurant industry. Owners are frequently required to establish rules to prevent customers from cutting into their profits.
