What Blu Marsstar dislikes about Jiang's Mongolian Japanese Grill:
I have gone to this place now 5 times and each time it has gotten worse and worse. the first time I had a minor stomach issue, then my friends stomach hurt so bad that she ended up defecating on the ground next to a toilet because she couldn’t make it, then my friends brother threw up in front of the restaurant. needless to say, I won’t be going back to this restaurant. Normally this place is VERY good, but I got the vibe that the food/ingredients displayed last night Sunday 6/23) looked kinda old/wilted. It was still yummy and hot and we ate our portions. Now today, 6/24 both my fiancé and I have been running in and out of the bathroom all night with insane stomach cramps and gas! We had to cancel all plans for today because there was no telling when the Mongolian Grill food would strike.
Food is amazing and the staff is super nice and helpful!!! Truly enjoyed everything
Great mongolian grill, good choices, a lot of food for a good price.
Wow! Our first visit and I was very impressed. The choices are many, the prices are low, and the service is quick. Food was perfectly cooked and wasn't overdone at all. This place quickly filled up and they were moving people pretty quickly and orderly. Will definitely recommend and return when in the area!
I love this place it’s absolutely delicious and I love how I get to build my own bowl!

I loved the food here. I had lunch with my friends and we all shared the same opinion. Nice atmosphere, good service. Price was fair and reasonable. We would definitely go back. Parking: Right in front
Very good place to eat. You get a lot for your dollar. Go here if you're looking for lots of food at a decent price
Cozy shop with great esthetics. The ingredients are fresh and surfaces regularly cleaned. The Set It Forget It style hand off once you have piled your bowl of ingredients sky high. Take a seat, sip a bevi, have a chat while the skilled chefs pack the food with Umame . Just as the smell almost demands your attention, your server will have slide in beside you and placed your steaming original dish before you. Give thanks dig in, portions are great! Leaving with a 2go box is commonplace. EAT HERE. THEY GOOD, 8 outta 10 would recommend (twice) Vegetarian options: It 's a buffet of fresh veg, the tofu offered is insanely tasty. There 's maybe 4-8 meatbased protein options. Easy to miss and ServeSafeCompliant. Dietary restrictions: Because of the bespoke nature of the restaurant, the observation of D.R. is a no-brainer. Parking: Shopping center, x4 Fooball Feilds of spots. Kid-friendliness: As friendly as any other Asia/Ocianic establishment. I swear by this. But if the restaurant inspires a bit of straightened posture, hushed tones, are the appetizers plus pallet cleansers that just add a flourish to and otherwise FANTASTIC outing. Wheelchair accessibility: Curbs leading from spots are to code, no lips, steps, or gaps to traverse. Straight Shot, not just easy but breezy.
Choose your meat, veggies, noodles, rice and your sauce. They grill it and deliver it to your table.
Came for a late lunch early dinner. If you are looking for an exciting fun loud Mongolian grill environment... You won't find it here. Instead allow the staff to cater to your every need. It's quiet and relaxing. The sounds of grill and quiet music playing in the background. The food was excellent. Meats are soft and tender. Large selection meats and modest amount of typical veggies. Nice assortment of sauces and spices but not too many that you are questioning where to start. All in all a wonderful time. We will be back for second and most likely thirds.

This is one of my favorite spots to eat while shopping! The value for fresh meats and vegetables is excellent, and the sauce selection is outstanding. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is consistently clean. It's a must-try dining experience in Algonquin!
Our family absolutely loves Jiang's! The staff is extremely polite, attentive, and quick to provide drink refills and tidy up the table. The food is delicious with a wide variety of options for customizing your own bowl. Everything is fresh and served in generous portions. I usually have enough left over to create three meals from one bowl. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!
The meals were quite enjoyable. You have the option to select your protein and vegetables, along with either rice or noodles. After that, you can choose from a variety of sauces. Once you place your order, you receive a specific number for your meal and table. After your meal is prepared, it’s served right to your table. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's a wonderful atmosphere for a date night.
The food at Jiang's Mongolian Japanese Grill was fantastic, but the service fell short. The waitress set a beer down at the edge of the table without saying a word, and it ended up spilling everywhere. It was a bit frustrating, but thankfully the delicious food made up for it.
I’m honestly surprised by how many reviews say this restaurant is clean. The fan was covered in dust, the walls and air vents had noticeable dust, the walls had splatters, and the tables were sticky. I’m not overly picky about cleanliness, but while waiting for my food, I kept noticing more issues. Also, there was no air conditioning. The staff were quite rude, even slamming trays down in front of us when we forgot to pick them up. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place based on the reviews, thinking it would be a good spot. The food was okay, though some of the proteins looked questionable. Honestly, I don’t understand how so many people rate this place as clean and fresh. The prices are reasonable, and I saw many families enjoying their time here. I get that the affordable prices are important in today’s economy, but cleanliness should still be a priority.

Went with hubby to try this place. Very interesting concept! they have a few options, we chose the bowl (they also have unlimited bowls I believe). Price is very reasonable at less than $17 for the regular bowl. They give you a bowl and you can fill it up with meats (they have a whole section of various meats chicken, shrimp, meat, ham, etc), and then an area where you can pick veggies of various types and a sauce type bar where they have a bunch of different sauces that you can try. They also have a salad bar that's included in the price. You give your bowl with meats and veggies (Plus rice or noodles) to the chef who puts your stuff onto a round/circular hot cooking type instrument and then they bring your food to your table. Service was pleasant. Would recommend!
I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The shrimp was unappealing, the noodles were overcooked, and the garlic was undercooked. Furthermore, the absence of a decent chili sauce was disappointing as well.
I have dined at this restaurant several times, and each visit has been a pleasure. I love being able to fill my bowl with a diverse selection of ingredients. Whether you prefer your meal to be mild, spicy, savory, or extra spicy, you can tailor it to your taste. Additionally, you can select your favorite type of carbohydrates...
This was my first visit to Algonquin, IL, and I decided to try out this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food here wasn't especially unique or exciting. The hibachi...
