Sometimes we've noticed that they can be a bit unders... read more We always enjoy coming here for a large burrito dinner to eat in or take out. Their prices are reasonable. Sometimes we've noticed that they can be a bit understaffed with only one waitress on a busy night which can be upsetting when take-out orders seem to take precedence over our dine-in order.

The food has consist... read more The service has always been pleasant; just don’t expect any humor from the staff. We’ve always been greeted with smiles and friendly faces. The food has consistently been good, with the exception of a time years ago when they had a Gringo chef—let's just say, it wasn’t ideal. The atmosphere captures the essence of a small Mexican border town, which we appreciate. We've dined at many more upscale Mexican restaurants, often at much higher prices, but this place is all about good food and a bit of authentic Mexican charm. If you’re looking for a casual meal, this is the place. If not, you may want to explore other options. Otherwise, we’ll see you at Buena Vista!

After traveling around the world, I've encountered both "authentic" dishes that delight and the disappointing American versions. This feeling intensified after my time in China, where I never set foot in a P.F. Chang's, Chipotle, or Panda Express.
