Was Mike X at Bubs Subs a mag?
If you try one thing, make sure it's the El Nino. The homemade giardiniera with the Italian beef is truly exceptional. We also had the Bomb Beef and Firebird sandwiches, but we both agreed that the El Nino is the one that will bring us back! View all feedback.

Best. Sub. Ever. They keep it simple, using high-quality ingredients and pricing them accordingly. However, I’m editing this review nine years later, and now a large sub costs $20. I’m sorry, but I can’t justify that price anymore. While they still taste good, you can find the same quality for half the price at other places. View all feedback.

I have been eating at Bub’s subs for over five years and to this day they have the best bread I have ever had from a sub sandwich shop in the state of Illinois. Their bread makes the sandwiches what they are….amazing! Staff has always been friendly as well going back years with different members. They just have an eye for hiring laid back and nice people.
