Went to Hotel Stebbins with four of my friends for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. What a wonderful hotel. We had a great stay their. Such a unique place. Staff so friendly. What Melissa Mae doesn't like about Stebbins:
The food served and quality of it was not representative of the prices and the menu. The fish buffet was mediocre. The waitstaff ate off the buffet while customers were eating. The owner brought her dog into the restaurant. The waitstaff eavesdropped in the conversation at our table while cleaning and joined in the conversation. View all feedback.
Great food, drinks, and prices. The bar upfront was crowded at 9 when we left.
Stepped in for Saturday evening dinner what a pleasant surprise! Our dinner tasted fantastic! Waitress was very charming and friendly and made dining here the highlight of our stay! We will definitely return! Thank you for an excellent meal!
Super friendly people! The rooms were so clean and put together really nicely. Absolutely loved this place, we will definitely come back here.
Clean. Comfy bed and soft sheets. Slept like a baby. Liked the layout of the Old World room. Cherry-theme cocktails in the bar were good. Short walk to the harbor if you want to take pictures of the lighthouse at sunrise.
We stopped in for a quick dinner and this place came very highly recommended. The only saving grace was that the burger was decent. For a group of four we received one small roll of bread. We waited at least 45 minutes to get our food and the server was MIA for 3/4 of the meal. Not vegetarian or food allergy friendly so one person in our party ate the aforementioned roll and that’s it. Our table was completely ignored and we had to ask for dessert and our check from a separate server. They were apologetic but didn’t offer anything other than “sorry”. I’ve worked in food service for many years and for the wait and lack of service, I feel like I would have been let go for much less.
