Fantastic breakfast, quick service, great atmosphere. Would recommend taking a detour if you go through Luxemburg, WI. Sat down at a dirty table, within a minute our table was sanitized and dried. Food was cooked well. Lots of friendly people, too.
Let me just start off exactly explaining my reviews. I am not one of those star happy people. A three star rating is good. An example of a five star is Gordon Ramsy’s Hell’s Kitchen or Estela in NYC. So, three stars is not bad. I begin to rate in the order: 1) Cleanliness 2) Customer Service 3) Food Quality/Safety 4) Atmosphere 5) Price The food was good. I ordered my ribeye steak well-done with a side salad, and a slice of blueberry pie. The dishes presentation(s) were that of an old-fashioned country side diner. The art of the food is flat; yet still appealing. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming and the food they served was at the proper temperature(s). The chef and/or cook prepared the food accurately on my dish that I’d ordered. The only two issues I had were the convenience for customers and the blueberry pie. I tried to pay with my bank’s debit card and they’re cash only. This wasn’t referred to me until after I had bought and consumed my meal. The last thing a customer wants is hassle paying or to be local and be forced to stop at a bank if you don’t want an ATM charge. This hassle will leave open consideration for surrounding competitors. The restaurants clientele looked as if it consisted of the local residents. I was highly bothered by having to force a withdrawal on my bank card after the fact that I’d ordered. All-in-all, the restaurant falls into the “consideration” category if I happen to be in the area. It isn’t a restaurant I would go out of my way to dine at, and it isn’t something I wouldn’t consider while driving past. I believe the restaurant should receive a good rating of 3/5 stars.
