Traditional Mallorcan food in a rustic setting. Food was plentiful and delicious the cannelloni, steak and tumbet with fish were particularly good. No English menu but most is self explanatory and the staff can show you explain. Hospitable service in a family atmosphere.
Worst place to go, they serve most of the food frozen, becuse they swap every two weeks the bussiness, it s a joke, the serice is trash.. they act like you are an enemy, Better a kebab shop! Worst experience ever !
The only thing I can think of is that the chef was having a siesta and the cleaning lady gave it a go. Yes, having a lunch in the second half of the afternoon we live locally, so we know is not the Mallorquin way, but still. We usually go to Cal Dimoni for this kind of thing and there all is always fine great, to be honest and also open all day , but thought of having a change. We started with some soggy croquettes and a three day old slice selection of bread and some obviously not home made albóndigas. My wife was served a salty and greasy bucket of overcooked ex deep frozen fish €23, , I received 6 burnt fingernail size lamb chops with a kilo of greasy chips not a splinter of decent garnish in sight € 17,50 . The kids shared a crappy pasta...add 2 glasses of red for which one had to walk to the bar for to get served and some water: € 86,00. Really?!! One waitress was completely uninterested would even look at us when serving and the other prioritised clearing up to serving. No complementary hierbas at the end nor the question if the food was ok during or after the meal. This place should be rebranded as a snackbar or just close shop when they are not prepared to serve anything of quality.
We went here for a quiet meal. The ambience was quiet and relaxed, the service was efficient and friendly and the food was delicious.
