The restaurant is in one of... read more Location is right between two universities in the village of Alfred NY. A little parking in the rear and on street parking up front. The restaurant is in one of the old buildings on main st and has a casual atmosphere. Nice selection of apps sandwiches and main dishes. Service was very good and so was the food. Chicken Alfredo had a very creamy and tasty homemade sauce. Prices were about average. Came highly recommended by many of the locals and they are right.

They are incredibly accommodating when it comes to food allergies. The service is exceptional, and I’ve never had a negative experience in the six years I’ve been a customer! Regarding dietary restrictions: the chef has always expertly handled my allergies without any mistakes. I’ve dined at every Alfred and Hornell restaurant, and all of them have caused me reactions—except for Rosebush. It truly is the best!

They infuse it with rosemary and basil—who would have thought? Just kidding! We had a great time overall, and I highly recommend checking it out.
