The only problem is that the staff are so unenthusias... read more I regularly get take-away from Adlgate Cafe. They have great pizza and their dine-in meals is always good. The only problem is that the staff are so unenthusiastic, that most of the time i'll just go down the road to Bubba's, where i know i'll get good service every time.Sometime's i'll order takeaway, because the delivery guy (Alex) always has a smile on his face. First rule of business is that people buy from people they like, and the people are not that like-able.

We live down by the beach which is about a 45 min to hour drive away, that's how much we like this place. On a autumn or winters day, we enjoy not much more then sitting in this quiet cafe with a excellent glass of their mulled wine* and a freshly made pizza or pasta. It has become a tradition in our house and you should think about making it one in yours.*mulled wine is available in autumn and winter only.

My favorite dish is the classic Aldgate special pizza with a thin crust and extra artichokes - it's definitely my guilty pleasure. The love and passion put into this place makes it a great spot to dine in or grab takeout from. As a local, I appreciate the close proximity, but I highly recommend anyone, near or far, to come and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Overall, Aldgate Cafe is definitely my top pick in the area.
