Spent $100 on family birthday takeaway, whilst flavoursome, the szecheun pork and beef had mouldy capsicum in it, not great, I'm afraid. Won't be returning.

I wanted Lemongrass Chicken with vegetables wasn’t very impressed. A plate of bean sprouts and a couple bits of Zucchini The chicken was nice. My friend and I were the only 2 in the restaurant. We asked to order dessert and the response was” sorry we are to busy with phone orders.” No ice in my drink because the weather is too cold. Well, I won’t be going back there anytime soon.

Tucked away in the back of the Aldgate shopping centre this lovely little Chinese Restaurant is easy to access with parking a plenty and should become everyone’s regular. We have eaten in house regularly and have take away once a month. Without question, every time we are rewarded with superb quality, freshness of food, great service and all without the typical “next day” abdominal difficulties one of the very few Chinese Restaurants to achieve this!!! We always thoroughly enjoy the experience and have done so for a number of years. Pricing represents great value for money and to reiterate, the food is consistently fresh and always well cooked. If only all Chinese Restaurants were this good!! Anyone who complains about Aldgate Chinese Restaurant must have personal issues or can never be pleased no matter where they go!!! Please support these great family people who put their heart and sole into pleasing their patrons.

Love Asian food so bought takeaway here several times, but this most recent time was the last straw. The quality of the food on all 3 occasions is just ok vegetables over cooked, sauces too heavy, stingy with the meat) the pricing is above average $45 for 3 dishes, no rice), but the delay in service was the worst. After being told the food would be ready in 20 minutes, I returned in 25 minutes to be told it would be another 5 minutes; then had to sit and wait another 25 minutes 50 minutes in total for takeaway. Given the food wasn't anything special, it wasn't worth it.
