I was visiting Albury for the weekend and as soon as I walked into the restaurant I could feel it's warmth - it felt like home away from home with the fireplace... read more I was visiting Albury for the weekend and as soon as I walked into the restaurant I could feel it's warmth - it felt like home away from home with the fireplace on, friendly staff to welcome you and an intimate feel with Spanish influenced music and decor - I especially loved the paintings! You can tell that they really put their heart and soul into this restaurant. I found myself visiting more than once during my stay and in fact had breakfast, lunch and dinner there at various times over the weekend, always wanting to try more! My favourite dish of all had to be the paella! It was presented beautifully which reflected its taste, a very generous serving but I was adamant to leave none behind! The waitress was also very knowledgable about the large selection of wines and recommended a great local wine which complimented the dish. On the drinks front I recommend trying the Spanish hot chocolate - it was a lovely surprise to see it served with a chocolate ball which melted when the hot chocolate was poured - absolutely divine and perfect for a cold winters day! Whilst enjoying my drinks after eating I spied some delicious looking tapas dishes being served and overheard compliments about the homemade churros and so I feel I'll be making a return visit to Albury to dine in Saludos again!Thanks for a great experience from start to finish and hats off to the chef!
