Range Cafe Rio Grande - Albuquerque
Range Cafe Rio Grande
Description
Range Cafe offers a varied menu featuring classic breakfast items, burgers, salads, and entrees, but diners' experiences diverge significantly. While some guests rave about the friendly service and enjoyable meals—particularly the spinach enchiladas and black forest cheesecake—others found their dishes underwhelming, citing simplicity as a primary concern. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff receive praise, yet service consistency appears to fluctuate. Overall, while many appreciate the inviting environment and some standout dishes, others left feeling that the offerings did not live up to their expectations, suggesting that Range Cafe may be a hit-or-miss dining experience.

We didn't enjoy Range. The menu is simple, breakfast items a couple of burgers, salads and the entrees. My daughter ordered the kids turkey plate, she did not enjoy. My husband had the chimichanga and I had the blackened salmon. It's really simple, just simple meals. It was our first and last time eating there. We just didn't enjoy it as much. Looks like a lot of people like it though it just wasn't for us.
Excellent service!! Maya renewed my trust in this restaurant. she went out of her way to see that our dining experience was more than a good one! Great food (Updated review) photos kitchen sink omelet, chicken fried steak, blue corn red Chile enchiladas
Great service and great food! I appreciate the extra precaution to keep your diners safe. It?s well worth the wait, folks! Turkey Club with fries and a green chili cheeseburger with fries. The meat was cooked perfectly and the American cheese was smack on! Highly recommend!
After a day of shopping on Coors Road, I decided to visit another Range Cafe location since I hadn’t eaten all day. Having previously reviewed the Central Avenue location in Albuquerque, NM, I was curious to see how this one measured up. I was pleasantly surprised! My server, Elisabeth, was friendly and attentive, offering excellent recommendations. I ordered the spinach enchiladas, which were fantastic! I also tried the apple pie with green chilies, paired with cinnamon ice cream, and was blown away by the combination. The pie had a nice spicy kick, and the cinnamon ice cream perfectly complemented the flavors. I ended up eating it all before I could snap a photo, but I highly recommend this location if you’re nearby.
I had a pleasant experience with breakfast. I tried the chicken fried steak and eggs, paired with country potatoes, but I thought the potatoes could have been cooked a little longer. The server was a bit curt, but I figured it was due to the hustle and bustle of the restaurant. I did notice he appeared to be more friendly with the customers at the table next to mine.
