Description

The recent wave of reviews for a local Thai restaurant reveals a mixed dining experience. While some patrons are enamored with standout dishes like the Chicken Pad Thai and Massaman curry, others express frustration over underwhelming flavors and portion sizes. Many dishes lacked the expected spice and freshness, with several diners receiving meals that were either bland or poorly presented. Service, however, remains a consistent highlight, with staff receiving praise for their attentiveness. Despite the varied feedback, strong flavors and warm hospitality draw in loyal customers, leaving a glimmer of hope for improvement amid dissatisfaction.

Thai Boran actually has amazing service and are so welcoming! I hadn't been there in years and took some friends to try it for the first time a few days and everything was as good as I remember. One of the three front of house team members would come and check back with us consistently and they were very friendly each time. They were knowledgeable and helped us decide on spice levels, and which rice. Everything was nice and piping hot when brought out, very delicious flavors.I personally recommend the Money Bags as an appetizer because they are adorable and delicious, a very fun item to share with a group.Vegetarian options: Their fried tofu is so yummy!

The customer service was excellent. However, the noodle soup I ordered had no flavor whatsoever. The teriyaki chicken with noodles tasted overwhelmingly sweet, like maple syrup. I've enjoyed this place in the past, but this time I was definitely let down. Food rating: 1/5.

Wowza! Can I give this place 10 stars? I had the massamam curry and it exceeded all my expectations. I'm only in town for four day but I have a feeling that I will be here every one of those days for lunch. The portion size was large and the dish was full of flavor. Just note that the medium spice level is pretty spicy.. all in all, this place knocked it out of the park!

Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and delightful—definitely worth the drive to Albuquerque! We started with the chicken gyoza served with ginger sauce, and it was incredible! I ordered the Nam Sod, and it was just right. My friend had the Panang curry, and she couldn't stop praising how delectable it was. We wrapped up our meal with some mango sticky rice, which was pure perfection! The service was excellent too. We will definitely be returning!

I have been here multiple times and every time I've been here I have never been disappointed by anything that has come out. Everything I've tried so far has been great. The literally only downside I can think of is it's size. It's not a big restaurant and a lot easier to settle down smaller groups, up to 6. It's not too roomy so plan accordingly.
