I tried the ahi tuna sandwich, and it was amazing! It was cooked to perfection and topped with a delicious sauce and fresh avocado. Absolutely wonderful. It was served with a side of spiral fries that were tasty too. I also had two beers, and the service was exceptional—all for just $25. That’s quite a good deal!
This is our favorite restaurant whenever we fly to or from Albuquerque. The food is consistently outstanding, and the staff is helpful, efficient, and truly wonderful. The evening waiter has been there for years, and it’s always nice to see a familiar face each time we visit. We absolutely love this restaurant!
Amazing for a hotel! Ahi Burger was perfect: seared and succulent within super fresh! Crazy spiral cut Mongo big fries. Delish! Previous complaints about expense, but this is probably 6+ ounces of Ahi, $15 seems about right. Sat at bar, RJ is prompt, attentive, and efficient.
For the most part, it can be pricey but it's a hotel restaurant so.... the food can be hit or miss. One day the salmon risotto dish was perfect, on another, a bit salty Stuff like that. Can't go wrong with a sandwich or salad dish. The appetizers can be overpriced but not skimpy. The nacho plate was enough to share w/my dining cohort. The female bartender makes a delightful martini with BIG olives and, even though she appears to be in charge of everything, she periodically checks in on the customers. I never had slow service as other reviewers have reported. One problem I've encountered as a regular, the hotel secured the parking lot for hotel guests so if you're not a guest, your parking option is out near the entrance and that area only accommodates about three or four vehicles. Hotel management....if non-guests can't park at your hotel, we don't frequent the restaurant.
As for the truffle fries, they were probably delicious when fresh, but the steam rendered them soggy and limp. My husband ordered the enchilada plate, which may be a different experience if you're used to soft rolled corn tortillas. He mentioned it could use a bit more seasoning, but overall it was edible.
