Mimmo's Pizzeria
Description
### A Culinary Journey Through an Italian Gem
This local Italian restaurant offers a diverse menu that ranges from generous buffets to beloved classics like pizza and calzones. While some diners praise the homemade feel and hearty portions, others find the atmosphere outdated and the flavors underwhelming. Noteworthy highlights include praised pizza and calzones, which many recommend whole-heartedly. Despite mixed reviews on service and dish presentation, patrons appreciate the friendly staff and comforting ambiance. While its authenticity and charm win favor, the need for updates is clear. Overall, this eatery remains a reasonable option for those craving classic Italian comfort food, though seeking alternatives might be wise for a refined experience.

The atmosphere is really outdated and the food is good but in a pre food revolution kind of way. Nothing really bad to eat here but there is also nothing really good or unique either. This place would have been amazing 10 years ago but for the price there is about a dozen other places in town that are way better.
I absolutely adore Mimmos. Their calzones are incredible and totally worth the price. Unfortunately, their website indicates they are open, but that’s not the case. I’ve been eager to enjoy one of their delicious meals for months, yet my calls go unanswered, and whenever I drive by, their lights are off. I would be really disappointed if they don’t reopen. For now, though, it seems there's no hope of getting the best calzones in town.
The restaurant is no longer a buffet; it has been transformed into Sal's Ristorante. I drove all the way out here, only to be disappointed. I didn't end up dining here.
The wait for our food wasn't too long, but when our plates arrived, the presentation was lackluster. My daughter tried the chicken and immediately scrunched up her face in disgust. She described her meal as quite bland and said it made her feel sick afterward. My other daughter mentioned that her noodles had a soapy aftertaste and were bittersweet. The restaurant itself was quite small, with only five booths. I wouldn’t return, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
