Charming little spot! I was in search of affordable and delicious Chinese takeout, and this place exceeded my expectations. The food took me back to my childhood, reminiscent of when my dad would bring home takeout in those iconic little cartons.
I ordered four lunch entrees and they brought them out to my car in about 10 minutes. I brought it home and OMG! They were so good! And the portions were so much food. I ordered the lunch portions of the 4 dishes and what I got was like a full sized dinner portions. The prices were good as well. So 5 stars for the food 5 stars for the service 5 stars for the price That's like a 15 star review
The food is amazing! I've never been disappointed; everything is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
New here to Albuquerque and was searching for a restaurant as Chinese is my favorite food and I’m missing my favorite place back home. Tried a couple other places around town until Great Fortune was recommended to me. Love their food The fried rice is simply the best I have ever had. Egg rolls are great. I had the chicken chow mein . So delicious! The staff is kind and friendly. I’m so pleased I found Great Fortune. I can now cure my cravings!
I have been to the Great Fortune several times and each time the food has been very good. I have tried different things every time. Their soups are delicious. The wanton soup is a bit unusual as it is a beef based broth instead of a chicken broth and the soup has lettuce in it. However, even with the differences, it was still good. The egg rolls and spring rolls are good enough to make a meal of just those alone. When you order vegetables, they serve a nice variety from mushrooms to bokchoy to broccoli and carrots. The restaurant serves large portions and the price is reasonable. The restaurant is clean and tidy with a nice atmosphere. I will definitely continue visiting the Great Fortune.
