Description

Lush is a charming restaurant in Albuquerque that offers a range of vegan options, making it a top choice for plant-based diners. The staff is friendly and accommodating, willing to modify dishes to suit vegan preferences. The breakfast burrito with tofu, beans, rice, and chile is a standout, along with the vegetable breakfast hash and breakfast tacos. The menu may be somewhat limited in vegan offerings, but the quality and taste of the dishes make up for it. The cozy atmosphere and personalized service add to the overall dining experience at Lush. Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast, satisfying lunch, or a delicious coffee drink, Lush is a must-try spot for both locals and visitors in Albuquerque.

Delicious food, indoor and outdoor seating, exceptionally friendly staff? What else do I really need to say? GET YER RUMP OVER THERE for breakfast or lunch! And I hear that the weekend brunch features a different menu, and I cannot wait to try it!

I've visited this restaurant twice during my trip to Albuquerque, and it's quickly become my favorite place for food. The three breakfast tacos I had were fantastic. Then I decided to try a breakfast burrito, which seems to be a local favorite. I had low expectations after a disappointing experience at another highly-rated spot, but Lush exceeded my hopes! The burrito was juicy, cheesy, and delicious, and their breakfast potatoes were surprisingly tasty despite looking pretty ordinary. I also tried the Lush latte, which was unique. It was a well-made latte with a sprinkle of spices that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. I usually stick to classic coffee options, but today I decided to be adventurous and it paid off. The staff is incredibly friendly and even remembered me after a week; we even chatted about various topics. To be fair, everyone I've met in Albuquerque has been much friendlier than people back home in upstate New York.

During my recent trip to Albuquerque, I visited this small neighborhood café twice, and both times were delightful. My first visit was for breakfast, where I enjoyed a delicious egg-based croissant sandwich filled with fresh ingredients, paired with a fantastic mixed fruit salad— they even grilled the pineapples! For my second visit at lunchtime, I chose to try another breakfast item: the build-your-own breakfast burrito. Mine was filled with eggs, beans, spinach, and plenty of cheese, topped with red and green chili sauce. It was one of the best burritos I've had in Albuquerque—definitely in my top three!

The food was incredible! If you’re in Albuquerque, this place is definitely worth a visit. Everyone in my group of five absolutely enjoyed their meals! The staff are friendly and approachable. I’m eager to try everything on the menu! I highly recommend the kale salad.

When I was still taking classes at UNM in 2021 I would regularly go to Cafe Lush on my way to class. Once I graduated, I stopped going regularly, but I stopped by yesterday after a long time. It was nice to see how the food and the staff continue being amazing. Amy is always so so so so nice and I appreciate her exemplary customer service. I love this place so much! I always take friends when I can.
