I love old Italian delis and pork stores, so when staying for a few days in Albany, thought this place would be a perfect source of fresh mozzarella to accompany summer tomatoes. The mozz was okay, but lacked the milky fresh dairy flavor you get from the better latticerias. I had a hard time remembering how to find this little gem. They make the best cannolis in the Hudson Valley area. After my father, that is. They do stick to their hours and if they say they close at 7, by god they are locked lights off. Just be aware. They have pre made dishes if that's your thing. They make sandwiches all sorts of authentic Italian things. Being Italian myself, I go for the cannolis. View all feedback.
