Great food for good prices, and nice staff! Since the renovation they've been adding more options, it seems like every month there's something new and exciting to try! I come back at least once a week to get my favorite subs for me and my coworkers. I've never gotten bad food here. Dietary restrictions: I have trouble with gluten (not fully intolerant) and this is one of the only places I haven't had a hard time with... View all feedback.
What Fat Cat doesn't like about Submaker:

I had a feeling this restaurant wouldn't last after the new owner took over. Every time I visited, and I heard the same from others, the place reeked of patchouli oil. The staff, who seemed to be missing teeth, played loud rap music. The aroma of weed was overwhelming. The overall condition of the restaurant was appalling, with different bread and less meat compared to the previous owner's 35-year reign. Junk cars cluttered the parking lot and there was garbage everywhere. The list of complaints could go on and on, and it seems like everyone else knows what I'm talking about but is too scared to speak up.
Since the previous owner left, new management took over and it is now a disappointment. The bread is now hard and not as good as before. There are broken-down cars in the parking lot and trash scattered around. I tried ordering subs a few times and when I approached the window, the smell of patchouli oil overwhelmed me. I drove by recently and noticed that the place looked closed. I do not recommend going here and caution against trusting the fake four or five-star reviews.
It was surprising to find such a lack of meat and flavor in a $15 sandwich. However, what was even more surprising was the lack of cars in the parking lot at noon.
The subs and macaroni salad at this restaurant are the most delicious I've ever had. They are cheaper than Subway, and the bread is much tastier. Keep up the great work, ladies. Please don't change a thing.
This is by far the best submarine sandwich I have ever tasted. I have been a loyal customer since the 1980s and nothing else compares. The sub rolls are exceptional, much better than the oversized loaves of bread served at other establishments. The meat portions are just right, with fresh ingredients that make for a delicious combination. The oil used in the sandwich is a mystery, but it adds a fantastic flavor. It's truly a perfect, classic submarine sandwich.
