Cardona's Market - Albany

The bread at this restaurant is of poor quality and has always been that way. The deli department has been poorly managed, with a lack of personality and a limited selection. The olive bins are often low and the sandwich section is extremely slow. The sandwiches have decreased in size, increased in cost, and are overly salted. It is disappointing to see this place decline, as it used to be excellent.

The subs at this restaurant are generally good, but they frequently forget items when you order for pickup. I have ordered about 10 times for pickup and half the time there were no napkins included. On three occasions, an item was missing even though it was listed on the receipt stapled to the bag. It happened again tonight at 4:30pm when I picked up my Cardano club sandwich - there were no chips in the bag, despite me paying for them.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever visited. The food is top-notch, a perfect 10/10! Every sandwich my husband and I have tried from the menu has been fantastic. This is definitely one of our favorite spots and a must-visit.

First time visiting amazingly small and spacious Italian grocery and restaurant shop in Delaware neighborhoods of Albany NY. I had Italian bread (homemade),Honey turkey,Mayonnaise ,Black pepper,Lettuce,White cheese ,Tomato,Little oil- vinegar on the side.Great location near community garden, a great public elementary school, most importantly a bus stop. Parking is spotty. Pricesare reasonable. Don?t hesitate to stop by and visit. Don?t forget to purchase a homemade daily pastry with your groceries, meal,snack, coffee, oil or bread purchase. We ordered a prepared eggplant and penne dinner yesterday and we were amazed at how good it was! We will definitely be ordering from there again! One thing tho, I wish they had options to change the pasta that comes with it.
