Beautiful arched brick, subterraneum dining room with a lovely ambience. Food quality is good and competently cooked but execution and presentation is very 'safe ' and lacks inventiveness. The menu needs to work harder to earn that Michelin listing. Front of House really lets the place down. Very long waits (over an hour just to get bread and wine) and unsmiling, non-engaged service. Restaurant stormed during the truffle festival at dawn. it is best to book a month in advance. we managed to go for a Sunday lunch. beautiful atmosphere in the cave on the floor with soft led lights. friendly staff and celery service. excellent tajarins with truffles but also a simple mixed salad was served in a delicious and excellent way. This place is always a guarantee! approved approved
