Reviews summary
Nestled in the heart of the bustling culinary scene, this Vietnamese restaurant delights patrons with a vibrant array of flavors and welcoming ambiance. Diners rave about the divine fresh rolls, particularly the vegetarian option and crispy shrimp summer rolls. While the menu features an impressive selection, some dishes like the firecracker chicken and pork chops have received mixed reviews due to preparation inconsistencies. However, standout options like the spicy and sour soup, Pad Thai, and vegan Sizzling Spicy Lemongrass Tofu showcase the restaurant's potential. Coupled with friendly service and cozy seating, it’s a gem worth visiting for an authentic experience.

Great flavors all around. The reason for a star deduction is pork chops were off the shoulder end and not a center cut so there were a lot of little bones and cartilage, also they were extremely thin for a dish that's over 14 dollars a plate. It wasseasoned nicely though. Also I never understood why you have to order rice on the side. Who is eating just a pork chop with norice? Secondly the firecracker chicken was quite a letdown compared to the rest of the meal. Over cooked, mushy and not a goodflavor. The Vietnamese restaurant caters more to the average American who probably wouldn't be excited to eat porkblood/tripe/and tendons because it's been ommited for a nontraditional crowd. Despite that though the flavors are there.
Amazing food and friendly staff. I've never been disappointed with their food or their service.

Unexpectedly very good Vietnamese food in a small, strip mall restaurant. Special pho 5/5 Iced Viet drip coffee 4/5 Young coconut 5/5
A well kept secret! I can see a loyal customer base for stand-out authentic Vietnamese fare. Absolutely delicious.
I stopped here for a spontaneous meal while I was in Alameda for work, and I'm so glad I did. I will definitely seize any chance to return. The welcoming service was only outdone by the excellent quality of the food.
With a small indoor and about 4 tables outdoors, Mintleaf strikes a beautiful balance for pleasant dining. Service is prompt and friendly. Menu is focused, with strong traditional offerings couple with some nice house specials. First time there was a delight. Served quickly and everything came out perfectly. We had the Sizzling Beef platter, wanton pho and a chicken curry sweet potato clay pot. Add in some coconut rice to soak up the yummy sauces and the meal was a hit! Update: made it here a second time and it was equally delicious. This time my wife and I enjoyed their pho. Warm and flavorful broth with fresh cuts of beef and all the usual fixings. Definitely a good place to go! Located in a strip mall, you'll likely never want for parking. (Plus, there's a bobba so next door! . I'll be going again when the family wants delicious food.

I visited this restaurant on a chilly evening and we decided to try their noodle soups. My husband opted for a vegetable noodle soup and thought it tasted like a typical veggie soup, with a decent amount of vegetables. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but he enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, ordered the Bun Rieu, a crab paste noodle soup, and absolutely loved it! This dish may not be to everyone's liking due to its fermented taste, but it's something I would definitely return for. The service was good and the best part was that there was plenty of parking available.
First time trying this place and glad I did. What a great find. Really delicious Vietnamese food. My only complaint is it's a bit pricy for the small portions you get. What we ordered: Shaking beef tender and flavorful with lots of onions. Slightly pink on the inside, which is how I like it. Pineapple curry fried rice didn't taste any curry flavor, but still really yummy pineapple fried rice. Vegetarian egg rolls yummy but they only gave us 1 piece of lettuce. The side of cold vermicelli was a nice touch. Prawn and scallop garlic noodles really good garlic noodles. Kinda small serving though.
Pho wa great, good portion of beef to noodle. Veggie potstickers is a recommend for appetizer.
Wonderful food and amazing people! This was my first time there and was happy for some vegan choices (very well made), and I could tell everyone else's food in my party was great by the complex aroma of the food.Sizzling Spicy Lemongrass Tofu (vegan)! Super delicious!Hopefully we can find another night to eat here while we're in town this week!Thank you!

The best Asian food in America? and the best service from the wonderful Rochelle! Will be back for her kindness and humor.
Amazing food and friendly staff. I've never been disappointed with her food or service.
The fresh rolls here are divine. The vegitaian one are probably my favorite but the ones with crispy fried shrimp (summer rolls) are also heavenly. The staff is always super friendly and do forget the fried bananas for dessert!

I visited this place a couple of times here during my visit to our west coast offices at the Marina Village Parkway. I am no expert on Vietnamese food but the dishes I had were very tasty. I had the Pad Thai and Vegetable medley and was very satisfied by both. I had fresh spring rolls which were very good and the Thai ice tea was great too.
