I ordered the halal chicken over rice with salad, and it was simply delightful! Whenever we order from here, we make sure to start with the baba ghanoush as an appetizer. Just two days ago, we tried the falafel and shrimp po' boys, and I was extremely pleased with both. If you're fed up with typical Chinese food, you should definitely explore Middle Eastern cuisine—you won't be disappointed! The staff is friendly and welcoming, always apologizing for any longer wait times, but believe me, the wait is definitely worth it! We've certainly become two more fans!

Our waiter prov... read more Last night, three of us enjoyed dinner at Mid-East Cafe after visiting the zoo. We wanted a nearby spot and were fortunate to discover this gem. Our waiter provided outstanding service, and the food exceeded our expectations. Every appetizer was delicious, especially the vegetables, hummus, and those tasty beans! The main dishes, NYC Chicken and mixed fish, were excellent too. We also loved the rice pudding. We'll definitely come back—it's well worth the trip from Youngstown!

This place really knows their craft, and I'll definitely return whenever I crave it. It's amazing how good the food is here, especially at such reasonable prices. The food wa... read more I went to the restaurant tonight as soon as it opened and sampled their baba ghanoush. The owner was very welcoming and kindly provided extra bread. The food was amazing, particularly the New York chicken salad, which was outstanding! I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends!
