Anyway, the photos don't do justice to the meals! We visited Akaroa on a Sunday morning when most places were closed, and we were about to give up when we found this French bakery. They kindly allowed our dog to join us inside. I ordered the eggs benedict, while my partner opted for the crepes. They also offered a wide selection of delicious French baked goods, all of which were fantastic. I ended up with a large bag of takeaways, and they're almost gone as I write this! The buttery pastries, the delightful flavors of the macarons, and the heavenly blueberry custard tart were all amazing. The coffee was expertly blended and crafted as well. This place truly reflects the French influence in Akaroa. I can't wait to return! Our dog also appreciated the friendly pats from the staff. Thank you!

Although I couldn't have any of the bread or croissants due to my gluten intolerance, I still appreciated the café's atmosphere and expertise. The coffee was excellent.
