I'm new to kunafa and didn't realize there were so many varieties! I tried a crispy version filled with gooey mozzarella, which was my favorite. Then there was a softer one that was sweeter and didn’t ooze as much cheese. The third type had a thicker, creamier filling that resembled cream cheese. If my basic descriptions aren't helpful, the staff is friendly and will let you sample a small piece! Among the almond, walnut, and pistachio baklavas, the pistachio was the standout. It was the most flavorful and got a thumbs up from my parents!
This dessert fell far short of expectations. It was very disappointing—greasy and lacking flavor.
We adore this spot for satisfying our late-night dessert cravings. The service is outstanding! Their kunafa and baklava are both incredible, but my favorite has to be the crispy kunafa! I highly recommend this place.
The kunafa was the most delectable dessert I've ever had! I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
The King of Middle Eastern desserts just landed in Ajax and things won't ever be the same! The King I am referring to is their Kunafa, which if you haven't tried is something no one should pass up. The only way I know to describe is it's got a layer of pastry, specific cheese (yes, cheese! , syrup and nuts. It sounds simple but this beautiful concoction is anything but. This is a must try! I believe they have 2 variations from different regions of this. I prefer the crispy Nabulsi version (darker orange in colour . They also have a roll version of the Kunafa and of course they sell the cult classic, baklava. It is family owned and service resembles that being kind and attentive. Business here is on theme in this plaza neighbouring a restaurant selling Afghan kebabs and a Pakistani restaurant and grocery store. If you're in the area or picking up take out locally, you may as well stop to grab some dessert. They have an assortment of sweets that combine everything I love nuts, syrup and cheese. So try them out! What's not to love?
