I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The portions are ok but for the price is very good. I had a bun bowl and coffee. Parking is not an issue as you can park in the plaza behind the restaurant. They take card and cash. I highly recommend this place View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Phở Viet 8:
Their pho noodles are packaged and not fresh. Has that packaged taste from when you buy the packaged ones. The pho broth wasn’t clear and lacked flavor of the cloves and star anise which is what pho flavor is all about. View all feedback.
Not gonna do it again. The pho is super oily. Gross. Its like I'm eating an oil soup with noodles and beef.
A phenomenal delivery experience that I unfortunately forgot to take photos of. My food was prepared and delivered to me in under 20 minutes, and still at a great, enjoyable temperature that I could eat right away. COVID has obviously broken my brain, as I ordered spring rolls instead of the summer rolls intended, but I wasn't let down in any way the appetizer comes with sauce as well as some fresh sides of cucumber, carrot, and daikon, lettuce, and mint. This was practically a meal in and of itself a small one, but 4 spring rolls could've satisfied me in any environment where I hadn't just completed an hour long workout on a pretty much empty stomach. The pho, of course, was the most important portion of this meal. As requested, an side of cilantro and lemon was included, along with every other add in you could imagine: basil, bean sprouts, jalapeno, hoisin, and sriracha. The noodles took a minute to come alive in the broth as it wasn't steaming hot, but I had more than enough broth to solve this problem. The beef was a better cut than I normally seem to see at pho restaurants. If I had to be picky, a few of my onion slices seemed to be under ripe, but it was hardly enough to deter me from the extraordinary experience of my first meal from a restaurant in 2 weeks. Thank you Pho Viet 8, for staying open during this time and adapting to keep us well fed in Aiea!

We have been going here for years and the only pho place we go to now, everything is just right. Last week we ordered take-out and I appreciated the little things, too. They keep the broth separate fm the noodles, make a little bowl of oyster sauce and chili, put holes in the container that had the fried spring rolls so they don't get soggy...the quantities are generous, and the pho had lots of meat. Favorites are the pho, spring rolls, and beef or chicken bbq. Fresh and good, plus lots of broth for the next day's lunch. And friendly staff, very happy to see us.
The best Pho in town! The broth is incredibly flavorful, and the quality of the meat is excellent. This is a must-try!
