Was Michał Tomaszewski at Schloss Blumenthal a mag?
I was with the first group of people that had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel here and have 3 meals a day for a week. I must say I was in German food heaven and the spirits were flowing wonderfully. The staff was...so kind, helpful, and friendly we took up a collection for them at the end of the week. They treated us like royalty and the rooms were each very unique with very modern facilities. The breakfast and... View all feedback.

What Lena Martens dislikes about Schloss Blumenthal:
So Blumenthal's beer garden is really great! With the lamas around it has something exceptionally exotic and the ambience is really great. We have eaten there for our anniversary because we wanted to have a highlight in the restaurant. Well, the food is not bad, but for the relatively expensive dishes now not necessarily the Non Plus Ultra. Nicely dressed and appetizing, but no palate mouse. We had a nice place on th... We were told when we checked into the Schloss Blumenthal Hotel that the restaurant closed at 10. At around 7:30 pm, my husband and daughter walked to the restaurant and asked to look at the menu. Unlike the other restaurants in which we ate on the Romantic Road, there were no menus in English and the bartender seemed insulted at the request.. She reluctantly handed them German menus, which for the most part we could read. After all, Schnitzel is schnitzel and bratwurst is bratwurst. At 8:35 we arrived in the restaurant and seated ourselves. In the dining room there was one party finishing and a young man cleared their table periodically. He glance our way about three times but nobody made an attempt to wait on us. Finally at 8:55 we asked, as best we could, if we may see a menu. A waitress came and communicated that the kitchen closed at 9, so no we could not. She might as well have said, "No soup for you!" The busboy said to her with disdain, "And they are Americans". So in the land of wurst, schnitzel, dumplings and spaetzle, on this night, we ended up having to eat fresh at a Subway!

The place is very nice, bit neglected but in good condition overall, perhaps part of the concept ;) the food to my knowledge is 90% organically produced, the breakfast is healthy with eggs, fruit, there's for everyone's taste. The facilities are good, every room in the hotel has a different concepts and overall the experience is excellent, the walls are not noise proof and unfortunately I got a noisy neighbor with problems to sleep so I could hear all night moving stuff, but has nothing to do with hotel it's just pure luck, I absolutely recommend it and I would say a great place to relax and have a great time.

Having arrived in the rain, the beer garden wasn't open but we enjoyed a nice dinner all the same inside. Nice place to sleep at as well.

This place is like a secret Garden with small historical church and art community with free style art movement in the area. The beer garden is always full in summer and the beer is always good in Germany : try the white and the black...beer that they brews here, the taste is just nice. The menu also nice with seasonal pfifferling mushrom in cream sauce served with bread dumpling. We also try the ribs, well its just OK and the sauce taste like canned sauce : maybe they should improve this part since they re really in BIO spirit : . The cold dish is very long : we order sausage salad and it came after all meal finished : they said because in summer all people order cold dish :p what ever...they need to improve this also next time. the one we found funny was that for the drinks we have to pick by our self but the food they served to your tables :
