We spent Easter Monday afternoon at this truly unique restaurant and pub, and the experience was simply beautiful. The restaurant has a medieval theme and truly immerses you in the atmosphere: armor, doors, and carefully crafted tables create a charming and original atmosphere. The outside area is also very pleasant, with a truly beautiful view that adds to the special atmosphere. The owner immediately proved to be quick, attentive, kind, and always available. Throughout the meal, she made sure to ask us several times how the experience was going, demonstrating great customer service. She also personally recommended both the meat and wine, proving to be a valuable guide in our choices. The owner, Giuseppe, is a genuine and very friendly person: it was a real pleasure to chat with him after the meal. As for the menu, it offers a good variety: a wide selection of meats, three appetizers, four first courses, as well as a wide selection of beers and wines. Since it was Easter Monday, we were greeted with fava beans and their own locally produced smoked pancetta of excellent quality: a truly promising start. We then tried all the appetizers: their own cured meats and cheeses (truly delicious), pan-fried provola, and tomato bruschetta. The high quality of the ingredients was already evident. We moved on to the first courses, choosing two lasagnas and two ravioli with ricotta ragù: simple dishes, but with an authentic flavor and perfectly prepared. The real highlight, however, was the meat: we sampled Chianina, Angus, and black pig, three different cuts for variety, all extraordinary. The meats were served with excellent chips and vegetables prepared in-house. The sauces, also delicious, didn 't overpower the flavor of the meat, but rather enhanced it, adding that extra touch that elevates a dish from A to A+. The quality is truly excellent. To conclude the experience, the owner offered us a taste of his specialty: a blue alcoholic shot called Gargamella, served in containers reminiscent of medieval potions. Truly delicious... but we won 't reveal the taste: those who come will have to discover it for themselves! What can I say: it was a very pleasant experience, definitely worth repeating. Furthermore, we were advised to return in the evening because, according to the owner, it 's something completely different ... and we 're sure we will soon. Steven and Sabrina
Discovered by chance, but chosen every time. Stunning and quaint location, welcoming and helpful staff, impeccable cuisine, and the owners are incredibly friendly. The quality of the products is also... EXCELLENT! It's been a regular stop in the summer for two years now. And when we can, we pop there year-round, like last Sunday. Highly recommended if you want to treat your senses to a heavenly experience.
I highly recommend visiting this place. Excellent value, truly unique Gothic/Medieval atmosphere, and excellent food.
