Sad Cafe
Description
Sad:Cafe is a charming little spot in the CBD, offering a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. While some diners found the portions to be a bit small, the quality of the food was generally good. The Indian pancake was a standout dish, while the coffee was highly praised. With a seasonal menu that includes both vegetarian and meat options, Sad:Cafe is a great choice for those looking for healthy and fresh food. Overall, it seems like this cafe is a solid choice for a relaxing meal or a quick cup of joe.

I had a lovely toasted sandwich here and their homemade chai. It's a quiet little cafe. A nice hidden place in the CBD. Staff were not rude, however could have been friendlier.
Service was great, but was food was quite disappointing. As much as I hate giving bad, or low-rated reviews for cafe's with friendly staff and service, I can't help but to give feedback on the food. Nice little cafe with quite a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and reasonable servicing. I ordered the green eggs while my friend ordered one of the specials (kale/sweet potato) and added salmon on top. Although the food was quite good - I feel like the servings were quite small. My friend and I were both left quite hungry afterwards. They also forgot about my iced chocolate and only received after asking (I finished most of my plate though). No biggie though, I enjoyed my meal/experience overall but would've liked a more generous serving.
