Excellent service, staff were attentive and knew their stuff. 3 of us ordered whiting crumbed battered, hubby ordered the lamb shank with vegetables. Meals were excellent, if any fault, maybe the salad a bit dry without any dressing I think it was a ‘try hard’ coleslaw without the dressing. Whiting, 3 medium size pieces was juicy delicious. The lamb shank, only the bone was left on the plate. Overall great place with the renovated dining area. Will be a cosy place to gather around the fire in winter. Would recommend this pub in the eastern burbs!

The waitress was painstakingly cleaning chairs rather than seeing if we would like a drink the place was virtually empty. Might be simpler not to have table service
