This café doubles as a collective hub, showcasing interesting pieces of art. They also serve delicious homemade food. We ordered a standard coffee and hot chocolate, along with a homemade apple and carrot cake (which I think was a family recipe) and some homemade crumbs with strawberry jam. The cake had a hint of cinnamon and the crumbs were particularly tasty. The service was friendly, the atmosphere clean and cozy. We will definitely be returning soon for breakfast.

It became even busier as a cricket match was on nearby, drawing a crowd for brunch. We ordered the veggie breakfast which included eggs, spinach, avocado, tomatoes, and a small salad. Unfortunately, they did not have gluten-free bread, but they offered mushrooms as a substitute which I was happy with. The coffee was really good. Although there was some confusion with the orders as the restaurant had only been open for four days, the food came out perfectly cooked. My friend wanted her eggs cooked hard and I wanted mine soft, both of which were prepared as requested. The restaurant had a rustic charm with rough wooden walls and a display of delicious cakes. They also offered fresh juices and had friendly and helpful staff. There was a minor mix-up with our orders at one point, but it was quickly resolved. Overall, it was a great little place and I brought some out-of-town friends who were staying at a nearby hotel. We all enjoyed the experience and I will definitely be back.

We ordered the vegie bre... read more We visited here a week ago. It was busy when we arrived but got really crazy (cricket was on at the oval) as people came in for brunch. We ordered the vegie breakfast: eggs, spinach, avocado, tomato and a little salad. They didn't have gluten-free bread so offered me mushrooms which I was more than happy with. Plus really good coffee I must say.There was a bit of confusion with the orders (we found out they'd only been open for 4 days!) but when the food came it was perfectly cooked. My friend wanted her eggs hard and I wanted mine poached soft and they were both as ordered. It's nicely done out with rustic rough wood walls; lots of yummy cakes in the counter display, fresh juices and really friendly and helpful staff. They were really concerned about the order mix up (they brought someone else's order to our table) but it was only a minor issue.Fabulous little place. I took friends from interstate there who were staying at a local hotel and we wanted something different and found this new cafe. I'll be back.
