Nico Cafe is a personal favourite - it's an absolute gem. The service is fast and efficient and workers are so friendly and genuine. The food is generously dished and always delicious. The hot drinks are also consistently awesome.

It had a very gar... read more A very interesting location for a small Japanese fusion garden styled cafe. However, despite the location, the place itself was very pleasant. It had a very garden like feel to it with simple decorations and very smartly created menus from children's books. The menu itself had a variety as it is a cafe there were food that included sandwiches and classic breakfasts with a little touch of Japanese cuisine. I personally tried one of their Teriyaki Chicken rice bowls and it was absolutely amazing! As a true fan of Japanese food I was most delighted with the outcome. It was simple yet filling. Perhaps I had arrived with zero to no expectations and thus I was taken by the surprise. Service was friendly and had a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect to come for breakfast or lunch by yourself or with a company or two. (Since this review, the cafe has changed owners and the menu is different now.)
