A new and exciting restaurant in the CBD offers delicious vegan options with housemade pickled vegetables. With separate vegan menus, a variety of dishes are available, like fake fried chicken with soy and ginger. The food is flavorful, although slightly pricey. The venue has live music once a month and excellent service. While there were some delays in serving the food, the meals were worth it. Overall, a great spot for a gourmet lunch or dinner in Adelaide, catering to both meat-eaters and vegans alike.

Was Anonym at MiMi a mag?
I think they use the lamyong vegan, with a very delicious garlic soy sauce. the broccolini was amazing and the aubergine also delicious! updated by previous review on 2022-08-28 View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about MiMi:
Delicious food, lots of vegan options. The waiter was lovely and waited our table. There was hardly anyone there, but the food still took a long time to come out. It’s also quite expensive. But worth it for a gourmet/fancy lunch or dinner in my opinion. View all feedback.
We decided to visit this restaurant on Wednesday after seeing an advertisement for 1kg of chicken wings and fries for $15. We were craving fried chicken and it was a friend's birthday, so it seemed like the perfect way to celebrate. The restaurant had a nice setting with the perfect lighting and was not too crowded. The staff was friendly, although there was a slight mix up with our order, so be sure to clarify before placing it. The food was delicious and we couldn't finish it all, so we got a takeaway box. A friend who tried it the next day confirmed how tasty it was! We will definitely return when we have more funds.
Thai food has been a favorite among Adelaide residents for many years, leading us to have our go-to restaurants. If you're like me (Amanda) and enjoy trying new places in addition to your usuals, then MiMi is the perfect Thai restaurant for you. Owned by Steven Lee, who is also part-owner of Plus 82 Pocha where we enjoyed Korean cuisine in June 2018, we arrived at MiMi with high hopes for another delicious dining experience.
Exciting newcomer in the area! Nestled close to the main CBD, a new restaurant has opened its doors from the same owners as 82 Pocha. They offer brunch and dinner on weekends, as well as lunch and dinner on weekdays. While the menu isn't huge, they excel in everything they offer. The soft shell curry was flavorful, but the standout dishes were the pork belly and fried chicken bites. Overall, the food could be spicier, but the taste is faultless.
Today for lunch, I indulged in a delightful Korean restaurant called Mimis on Sturt St in the city. I have dined here multiple times and finally decided to leave a review because the food is always exceptional! Craving sliders (my weakness), I opted for the $15 lunch special which included Korean Fried Chicken Sliders with Kohl and Kimchi Slaw. The sliders arrived quickly, beautifully presented with two mini burgers alongside a basket of fries on adorable red and white paper. I loved the bamboo skewer holding the sliders together, topped with a caperberry for a burst of salty tartness that perfectly balanced the rich burger. The crispy chicken, shredded cabbage, and carrots on the soft brioche buns created a symphony of flavors and textures with each bite. The seasoned chicken paired perfectly with the creamy kimchi, creating an explosion of taste that was simply delightful yet elegantly simple. This restaurant continues to impress with its consistently amazing and delicious food that never disappoints. I have always enjoyed the fusion of Korean cuisine with a cool and modern twist at Mimis. A must-visit for anyone looking for a hidden gem of a restaurant.
We had an amazing dinner at Mimi this week. I wasn't sure what to expect from modern Korean cuisine, but I was pleasantly surprised. Stephen and his team were very charming and provided excellent service. I appreciated that they only charged $10 for corkage fee for bringing my own alcohol-free wine. The food was outstanding! The photos speak for themselves - the presentation was flawless and the flavors and quality were sublime. You must try it.
