What Isobel Breitenberg doesn't like about Michiru:
came here for the second time since last year and did not know how quiet this sushi train was. it is not a very big room, but the sushi is quite decent, although I wish it wasn't so expensive for something that was two pieces, nevertheless, the freshly made aburi sushi roll was absolutely divine (I don't think it's on the menu though.) also the udon was quite delicious for $11,50, although the msg in it overpowered t... I found this inconceivable little place in a mini food court in the Regent Arcade. Great value Dolsot Bibimbap, freshly cooked. The portion size was perfect.
Food is okay and price is very affordable. Udon soup base is pretty salty. This can be done better. This is the place someone who wants fast and affordable Japanese lunch.
I enjoyed the food, but thought there were too little chicken and too much rice. The service was very good and friendly
Very good experience every time I go, freshest fish and original recipes of sushis and rolls, can not stop eating. The same system as in sushi train, but with higher standards. No chain. Chef is Japanese, very nice to watch as he works before you...
I've been to Michiru several times and have enjoyed the food so much I am surprised there isn't a queue for this restaurant all the time. The food is always fresh and quite obviously lovingly prepared. The service is excellent and the prices reasonable for the quality you get (about the same as most takeaway sushi places in the city). A great find excellent range of both fresh seafood and cooked dishes.
