Menu

A comprehensive menu of Mamak Corner from Adelaide featuring all 45 dishes and drinks can be found here on the menu.

Mamak Corner is a cozy spot serving up Malaysian comfort food in Adelaide. The Roti Canai might disappoint with skimpy portions of dips and overly sweet roti, but the Char Kwey Teow and Nasi Lemak are also underwhelming. However, the Nasi Goreng with chicken is satisfactory. The atmosphere is casual and the service efficient. Prices are reasonable, making it a popular choice for a quick, cheap eat among students and locals alike. Despite some misses, the fried chicken and iced Teh Tarik are standout dishes worth trying for a taste of Malaysian home cooking. If you're in the mood for a simple, tasty, and budget-friendly Malaysian meal, Mamak Corner is worth a visit.

Was swishmishS at Mamak Corner a mag?
Recently tried this out as hubby was raving on about the roti canai for a while. Ordered the curry and roti canai plus CKT. Was a bit disappointed with the flavours but still a decent CKT, highlight was the roti canai by far! View all feedback.

What BoeingMaggot dislikes about Mamak Corner:
Ordered Nasi goreng chicken. Got amateur greasy salty soggy fried rice with frozen veges stirred in and nothing Malay about it. Had better fried rice in outback nowhere. Sorry, absolutely average. View all feedback.

I've been here a few times... I have to say some dishes are a hit but some are a miss. I enjoy the roti- it's light and fluffy however the sauce portion given with the roti is disappointing. It definitely could do with more sauce ! The nasi lemak is alright- it goes well with the fried chicken. The fish curry can be a miss sometimes depending on the fish used - I've had a good one and some bad ones from this restaurant. The Maggie goreng is sweet not spicy which is odd because traditionally Maggie goreng should be spicy ! This place could do with some improvement but overall not unpleasant

Tried this place with a few Malaysian friends. Food: Between us we tried the Nasi Lemak with fried chicken and Nasi Goreng with chicken. The fried chicken was unfortunately not crispy and the sambal not spicy the way that it should be. The Nasi Goreng was satisfactory. Ambience: Cafe style  Service: Efficient, the food arrived within 10 minutes Tips: Not the best but not the worst if you are craving Malaysian. Avoid the add ons, its $1.50 for extra sambal, which in my opinion is far too expensive.

Just loved the roti canai and the chicken curry . The roti canai was well.cooked and I have no words for the chicken curry . One of the best I've ever had . Well cooked and seasoned.

Tried their foods during my stay in Adelaide. The taste serving portion was generous. I tried Nasi lemak with beef, Pad se ew flat rice noodles, satay Chicken roti telur on different time of day. Tried the dining uber eats. On Both occasions had wonderful food experience. Foods were fresh delicious. Though the Satay Chicken dish was different than my expectation, it was like curried with some veggies .Overall was great foods

Great for a quick, cheap eat. The roti canai is a staple that I order every time flaky bread and rich curries. The char kwey teow is also another favourite. Generous serves. Good value. Always popular.
