Great ambiance and setting, fits large groups, make sure you book as it gets very busy. Fusion mexican cuisine. Crispy rolled up tacos with beef brisket wrapped in it. Tasty with the guac dressing. Perfrct size for entree. The pork belly taco is the best, the meat so tender and has a good fat and meat ratio. The crispy kingfish taco was not very crispy. Flavour was alright. The mains beef ribs were deliciously smoked... View all feedback.
What Dmitri Kivi dislikes about Hispanic Mechanic:
Very good but I didn't know that the food was a fusion between Mexican and Korean cucine. I thought that was only Mexican but the food was still pretty good, nothing amazing but good. View all feedback.
Great ambiance beautiful outdoor eatery.Staff are absolutely amazingFood is to die forOMG the deserts what else can you ask forChef is from America knowing the street food in Mexico to a tee !!Parking ok either on the street or back streets thru side of restaurant
Have twice been here now and have yet to be disappointed with any dish. The popcorn lobster taco is a must try and the variation of ingredients and collection of flavours in the various dishes ensures all dishes can be individually characterised. The drink list is interesting and offers some unique South American selections that taste more appealing than they sound, the pumpkin flavoured beer being a prime example.Definitely one to try and experience for yourself.
Dined here with three of my friends on Friday evening. At first we were a bit surprised to be seated outside on such a cold night, but the heating was efficient and the outdoor dining area was quite cosy. Just think we should have been told this when making the booking more than 2 weeks in advance. we chose to have the banquet as it had good variety and we could share and this way we had the opportunity to try something different. One from our group was born in Argentina, and my husband is Brasilian so we both had knowledge of some of the dishes on offer having travelled to South America. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, clean, fresh and of a good variety. the waiter was efficient and friendly - we had a good experience and I plan to go back with my husband and other friends soon
Great food, pretty much everything on the menu is already gluten free or can be made gf. Only potential issue we were warned about was the corn tacos are fried on the same pan as the flour tacos. Didn't try the tacos so can't comment, but everything else was great!
