After taking this shot (refer to attached photos) it reminds me of the ad jingle - It's chicken tonight... Chicken tonight... ☺ - chicken in two styles - fried and boiled... Both are pretty good/authentic... I had it with the plume one which is nice for those who like sweeter robes, it is easy to drink... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ga Bin:
Average set up and atmosphere, nothing that special, but for a nice reasonably priced Korean style meal, it's not too bad. Would go back again just for the authentic style meals. View all feedback.
Food and neatly decorated, basic equipment, food is well cooked in a traditional Korean style flavor, with aromatic odours and aromas.
Average decor and atmosphere, nothing special, but for a nice cheap Korean style meal, it is not too bad. Would go back, just for the authentic style meals.
After reading a review that the Bibimbap was the best in Adelaide, we decided to try it. The lady cooking was just beautiful and friendly and explained the dishes she delivered. I'm just a little sad to say what... we just had average, a bit on the dry side.... sorry Ga Bin.
A booking in another Korean restaurant failed, so this was an alternative proposal from a guest. We came to a whole but empty restaurant with only one other table occupied by one group without a booking. Sitting was not a problem, and that should warn enough. We sat and after a short time were presented with a diverse menu containing some soft drinks and beer. No wine? We asked the waiter who then returned with a wine list. We pointed out that wine was not available. Ditto the next 2 selections. So he went away and marked the wine list with those who are not available (approx. 1 2) and we chose a 'normal' bottle, as most better varieties had already disappeared and had not been taken back. A bottle of wine finally arrived. The ducks were very good. The 4 of us randomly selected 2 different main dishes are the crab rice and the bibimbap. To cite 2 guests, the crab was disgusting and was left aside after the 2nd taste. The Bibimbap was OK, but not exciting. We rejected the desert. Then the bill came episode. The waiter calculated the invoice OK. We had two entertainment cards he couldn't calculate. Then, if the calculation was correct, he could not calculate the invoice 2 and then the credit card option did not work on the machine. What a saga! All these things up, sure flattened in the evening. I couldn't recommend this place.
