A hidden gem in the heart of Adelaide! Cafe Troppo is hands down one of the best cafes in Adelaide for anyone seeking great coffee, sustainable food and a relaxed atmosphere. From the moment you step in , you’re greeted with a warm, community-focused vibe that truly reflects the spirit of Adelaide’s vibrant cafe culture. The coffee here is exceptional- consistently smooth and perfectly brewed using ethically sourced beans. I had a flat white that was the best I’ve tasted in the CBD. The food menu is a celebration of local and seasonal produce with plenty of vegan , vegetarian and gluten free options. I had the chilli eggs followed by the vegan carrot cake, both delicious and beautifully presented. Located on Whitmore Square, Cafe Troppo offers a tranquil escape from the city buzz, with a cosy interior and leafy outdoor seating. Their commitment to sustainability and low-waste practices really sets them apart. If you’re looking for a top rated breakfast spot in Adelaide or just want to enjoy locally sourced food and amazing coffee, you can’t go past Cafe Troppo. Highly recommended! Coffee it was very nice but the service was bad. They ignored us since the beginning even though it was not busy at all. A guy took our order but never informed to the barista it was a new order, so he never prepared it, just until we asked again for it and the barista said he didn’t have any order. At the end the barista was nice and prepared it immediately. Price per person: $1–20 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

On Sunday, we visited you guys for the first time, and damn the food was great! but the service was even better. We were sat outside as you guys were super pumping and it began to rain- the waitress then keep a sharp eye on all patrons inside and once a table became available politely moved us inside so we didn't get saturated, however, she was also kind enough to place a heater near my husband so that I didn't freeze, gee that girl is a gem and your waffles are to die for... Cheers for being great!
