Café Michael 2 Adelaide
Café Michael 2 Adelaide
Description
Cafe Michael 2 offers a mix of positive and negative reviews, with a focus on the food being delicious, particularly standout items like the ginger prawns and fish cake. However, service seems to be lacking in some instances, with complaints of unfriendly staff and slow service. There are also mixed reviews on the authenticity of the Thai food, with some finding it not up to par. The ambience is described as a cute little spot in the city, with a plain decor but clean tables. Overall, Cafe Michael 2 seems to be a hit or miss depending on personal experiences, with some recommending it for the food while others suggest looking elsewhere for a better dining experience.

First visit for a long time. Service was okay but not that friendly. Good range of menu items. Ginger Prawns was delicious but Penang Beef curry was terrible. The meat was tender but tasted like it had been boiled and had a strange smell. The curry was salty and spicy but wasn't balanced. Probably the worst curry I've had anywhere.
We had choo chee seafood (protein was cooked perfectly) stir fry noodle crocodile (protein was chewy). Overall good service food delivery was very quick there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant. Cannot fault the flavours.
We were the only people in the restaurant on a Thursday night. There were the occasional delivery service pickups. The food was very tasty and, as you would guess, served very soon after ordering. For some reason, the door was left open and we both felt the cold coming in.
