Went for high tea. The woman at reception at the restaurant was rather abrupt but we put that behind us. Had a enjoyable time with the selection of food on offer. We requested another glass of champagne which my friend paid for. Upon leaving we checked receipt and we’re charged $70 for two glasses of champagne. We again spoke to the woman on the desk and found her quiet rude regarding our complaint re the price of the drinks. Needless to say I will not be returning there.
I was here for work with one of the tenants. It seems like a nice place. The restaurant is clean and it was relatively easy to find the person I was looking for.
We went for high tea last Saturday and were incredibly impressed by their exceptional customer service, which made us feel very welcome. It reminded me of the excellent service I received during my travels and at the Intercontinental Hotel in Hong Kong. The staff were attentive to our needs and made eye contact as we spoke, reminding me of the excellent training I received when I worked at DKNY many years ago. We felt truly special. Joan, the front of house manager, went out of her way to assist us upon our arrival. The restaurant's Beverage Manager, Lauren, led a fantastic team, including Noel. The pianist who has been playing at the hotel for 4 years added a wonderful touch with his live music. Thank you for a great experience. I will definitely be back to Adelaide next time.
