how can they go wrong with soft squishy buttery brot and meat, with puree and cheese contrast? easy answer: you can't. the one has an amazing cubic that only that everything that is packed with a top of the rod meat-packed roasted sandwich for a very reasonable price. What Maureen McDermott doesn't like about The One:
Located by the lake just near Commonwealth Bridge is a collection of funky container stalls selling an array of food!!! The One is at the centre of all this selling a decent variety of soft shelled tacos at a good price (approx for tacos). Today's selection was pulled pork and then a fish taco (see picture). A good size and it was definitely enough for a Friday lunch! Go and have a look, if it doesn't tickle your fan... View all feedback.

Another hidden gem at the Westside Acton Park. The One is a takeout specialising in American style deli sandwiches (think Cubanos, Reubens, Philly cheesesteak etc) with some other stuff thrown in the menu like tacos, wings and salad. I tried the Cubano; which is pulled pork, ham, onions, pickles, mustard and cheese between a toasted bun, it had a chilli emulsion added which made it different from the original but I'm not complaining as it was still melt-in-the-mouth delicious. The meat was cooked sous vide style and you could tell given how tender it was. Definitely going back for a second visit since this is something you can't get elsewhere here.
Presentation was reasonable but i had higher expectations given the priceSteak was untrimmed presumably to meet the weight sold on the menu.

Once again a visit to the west acton park after a bike tour around the lake. in most nights they will notice that the business here has very few customers that makes it easier to find sitting and chillax while eating some decent food. do not let that be missing the amount of judges of quality. still a conservative food search for those who know. but it won't stay long enough secret the court that would come in the one would have to be their pressballs. I asked for a recommendation and the rolls of the choice was the cubanos a buttered american style bun home made wobble, pickle mix, chili emulsion, shiny, slowly boiled sous vide swath, honey smoked ham, cheese mix and mustard....read more
