Let me start by saying that I've been to many places, and this spot is the only one where the bartender understood my request for a specific cocktail—a Manhattan, which is one of the simplest drinks. Believe me, other places have looked at me strangely when I've asked for particular cocktails. Overall, it's not a bad place to grab a drink, especially if you don't mind a younger crowd. You should definitely stop by; you might be pleasantly surprised! Oh, and just a heads up, Juan (the manager) knows his stuff despite his looks—feel free to challenge him; I hope you take him up on it!
We visited the bar the other day for a few drinks, and as we were leaving, we were unexpectedly told that white people shouldn't come here. I was unaware that racism is still a problem in 2022. I felt very disappointed by this experience.
This bar is a pretty cool and a unique experience here on Abilene. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into a giant projector screen with a video game system set up for 4 players! Drinks were okay.
I visit this place every week for karaoke, and it truly is one of my favorite spots to be!
The drinks at this bar are overpriced, like electricity bill overpriced. We hung out for a little while and a guy started stuff w my very innocent husband while we were literally sitting at our own table laughing and talking amongst ourselves. We were kicked out for overconsumption when we weren 't even drinking like that. We sat laughing and babysitting drinks and having waters. But because one guy didn 't like us, we were kicked out. The guys name is Keith and he wasn 't even working there. He 's got dreadlocks and wears sandals in the cold. He followed us to another bar and tried to swing on my husband while he was outside smoking a cigarette and then we got kicked out of that bar too? Not sure who this guy is and why he holds power but we 'll stick to the ice house from now on. Avoid this bar. Complete and total trash.
