Had an evening meal from here and it was liked by all the family. Very tasty and fresh and the staff were helpful and friendly. A nice ending to a good day out in Huntly. View all feedback.
What Millie Griffiths doesn't like about Dragon Garden:
I ordered a chicken Maryland form here and was disgusted to find the accompaniments to the chicken were a stale hot dog and greazy onion rings and pineapple fritter. No banana!! It was rather bland and tasteless and I find unfortunate to say that I...had a severely upset stomach afterwards, which caused me to miss out on my shift at work.... and subsequently money! Will I return? No!! View all feedback.
After much discussion with my wife about how confused the place looks. Chinese AND fish n chips? Place looks like a chippy from outside. But ordered some anyway. Got home and opened everything up, got everything we ordered. Very big chicken satay which was great,...wife had chicken curry with chips and fried rice, all of which were good. I always judge a chinese by the Special Chow Mein.....and I wasn't dissapointed. Would defo use this takeaway again. Does seem to be very popular with the locals but lacks reviews, so thought I would just type a quick one.

Exactly what my title says. I only takeaway from here because it has good flavours and the Chinese food tastes like I remember when I was a kid coming on holiday to the uk with my family. I was a bit worried though when I...walked in lately and seen they had also taken on being a fish and chip shop. Can't comment on the quality of that but I just feel stick to your strengths as I thought they were good at their own cuisine. Staff friendly and prices are competitive, portions sizes are good. Wish I knew how to cook chicken fried rice like they do.
We ordered a special roasted rice dish and a chicken roast at this restaurant. Although the chicken was a bit fatty, overall it was decent. The restaurant was very busy so we might consider trying something different next time.
On our way home from a night out, we couldn't find a traditional fish and chip shop open late in Inverurie. The Drachengarten, located on the road in Huntly, offers a mix of traditional Chinese and Scottish fare until midnight. We arrived just before closing time during the week and ordered a traditional fish supper, which was absolutely delicious. The chips were perfectly cooked and not too crunchy, and the fish was flavorful with a light, flaky batter. The staff were friendly and polite. Everything is cooked to order, so there may be a wait, but we found it worth it. We plan on trying the Chinese menu during our next visit!
