As I was eating my legs on the drive home, I... read more I visited the drive-thru at 5:06 pm on February 23, 2021 and ordered a 4-piece chicken meal with 3 legs and a wing. As I was eating my legs on the drive home, I found a shoe tag in the bottom of my box when I got to the wing. I was very disgusted to find a random shoe tag in my food and was worried about how it got there. I felt sick to my stomach and want to warn others to be cautious when eating at KFC on North Sandhills Boulevard, as it may not be safe. I called the store and informed the manager about the issue, but I did not accept the free meal or refund that was offered. I believe someone needs to inspect the food preparation process as finding a shoe tag in my meal was sickening.
