Contribute Feedback What Clara Bendtsen likes about Phuket Thai:
I got the pad see-lew here with spring rolls. The spring rolls were quite nice, and so were the noodles, but to be honest, I think I prefer the pad see-lew at Great Bangkok Thai. I would recommend take-out at this place, unless you were maybe with a group to make some atmosphere. I will likely visit again and try something else, as it is really close to work. What Catherine Evrard doesn't like about Phuket Thai:
I'm not sure if there was gluten lurking in the food, or what happened, but I was NOT well after eating here. My mother ate the same food and was fine, so I don't think it was "off," but it makes me reluctant to eat here again. The Pad Thai had too much fish sauce in it; for chicken Pad Thai, you shouldn't be able to taste fish..... View all feedback.
We have eaten here twice and loved it both times. We will be back for more!
Amazing food, great people!! A true Abbotsford delight!
Authentic Thai food at affordable prices. It's my new favorite restaurant.
I had eaten here in the past just after they opened and I remember enjoying my meal way more then. I went for lunch recently with my parents here and was disappointed. There was no one else in the restaurant at lunch time. The portions were tiny! and it looked like it lacked flavour, which upon taking the first bite, it did. I ordered the pad thai with prawns and tofu and it was horrible! It was tasteless and looked unappealing. The noodles were stuck together in a clump with crumbled tofu and prawns that tasted like they had been boiled in a pot of water for too long and added to the dish as an after thought. There was no color. I've had pad thai before, and even made it at home, and its tasted way better! I was really disappointed. It felt like it was thrown together with no care. I barely ate half of it and couldn't force another mouthful down. Should I have said something to the server, yes, but I'm not that kind of person. My lunch companions were non to thrilled with their dishes either and were disappointed in their experience here. Upon wanting to leave, the waitress had disappeared and could be heard chatting to the cook in the back while we waited. Eventually we had to hunt her down so we could pay.Overall the service was sub par and the food was to be frank gross. If you are looking to try thai food for the first time or have an overall good experience I would suggest checking out the other thai restaurants in Abbotsford.
Hard to park out front, tiny restaurant inside, so we ordered to go a coiple times. Tiny Little meals, and made some mistakes on our order. Probably wont go again, we really like our Thai food fresh and spicy, this isnt our place.
