Was Clara Bendtsen at Phuket Thai a mag?
I got the pad see-lew here with spring rolls. The spring rolls were quite nice, and so were the noodles, but to be honest, I think I prefer the pad see-lew at Great Bangkok Thai. I would recommend take-out at this place, unless you were maybe with a group to make some atmosphere. I will likely visit again and try something else, as it is really close to work. I'm not sure if there was gluten lurking in the food, or what happened, but I was NOT well after eating here. My mother ate the same food and was fine, so I don't think it was "off," but it makes me reluctant to eat here again. The Pad Thai had too much fish sauce in it; for chicken Pad Thai, you shouldn't be able to taste fish..... View all feedback.
As a recent transplant from Vancouver, finding a new go-to Thai restaurant has been on my to-do list for a while.
Decor is not amazing however the food and owner makes up for it!! Mae is personable and very helpful with great recommendations! We had the Tom Ka Gai, Pad
Bangkok Thai makes a welcome new addition to the growing number of quality ethnic restaurants in old Abbotsford.
This is a great Thai restaurant. Their chicken pineapple soup is absolutely delicious, and I usually don't enjoy pineapple in savory dishes. The interior is surprisingly simple when compared to other Thai restaurants. There's no air conditioning, so it's wise to bring a battery-powered fan; otherwise, you might find yourself feeling quite hot before your meal arrives!
We have eaten here twice and loved it both times. We will be back for more!
